At 65 years young, I've lived a life full of diverse experiences. I've been happily married to my husband for 38 years, and together, we've built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. We've raised two remarkable daughters, and I'm now blessed with two beautiful grandsons who light up my world!
Professionally, I've worn the hat of a CPA for four decades, but I'm in the process of phasing into retirement, opening up a new chapter of life that's filled with exciting possibilities and reinvention.
As a small group leader for Women Mentorship gatherings, I've had the privilege of witnessing the incredible strength that women possess when they come together to support and empower one another.
My journey has been colored by faith, as I'm a Christian woman who recognizes that my life is a mosaic tapestry of God's handiwork. My memoir, currently in the making, is a labor of love, chronicles the chapters of my life, where resilience, love, and hope were my guiding stars during challenging times. It's a story of triumph over trials, of finding strength in faith, and of embracing love as a beacon of light in the dark hours. As I write my memoir, I uncover the threads of God's guidance and love that have woven through my life, shaping me into the woman I am today.
As a mother, I embraced the journey of homeschooling, providing my daughters with a rich and nurturing education. I've dabbled in homesteading, tending to our cottage home with goats, chickens, and bountiful gardens.
Beyond my roles as a mother and professional, my life has been a vibrant tapestry of hobbies and passions. I find joy in exploring the open road, riding motorcycles with my husband. Daily walks and invigorating exercise classes at the senior center keep me active and feeling youthful.
Music has always been a source of solace and expression for me. I love to play the piano and flute; and reading is another cherished pastime, with books serving as windows to new worlds and perspectives. I've also been fortunate to embrace the wonders of travel. Regular visits to Hawaii and Alaska allow me to connect with my daughters and grandsons, forging lasting memories and a deep sense of family bonds.
This rich tapestry of experiences, spanning from a fulfilling career to the joys of homesteading, music, family, and travel, has woven the fabric of my life.
